We have entered into an agreement with Google for the outsourcing of our data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
6. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the „unsubscribe“ link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.
Content of the newsletter
We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter „newsletter“) only with the consent of the recipient or a legal permission. Insofar as the contents of a newsletter are concretely described, they are authoritative for the consent of the users. Double opt-in and logging

Optionally, please provide the following information: First name for the purpose of personalizing the newsletter. The sole purpose of this storage is to prove that a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers for newsletter reception without the knowledge of the person entitled.

YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Google Maps
This website uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To enable the use of the Google Maps features, your IP address must be stored. As a rule, this information is transferred to one of Google’s servers in the United States, where it is archived. The operator of this website has no control over the data transfer. In case Google Maps has been activated, Google has the option to use Google Fonts for the purpose of the uniform depiction of fonts. When you access Google Maps, your browser will load the required web fonts into your browser cache, to correctly display text and fonts.
We use Google Maps to present our online content in an appealing manner and to make the locations disclosed on our website easy to find. Job applications
We offer you the opportunity to send us a job application (e.g. by email, post or using the online application form). The following provides you with details of the scope, purpose and use of the personal data pertaining to you collected within the scope of the application process. We hereby confirm that the collection, processing and use of your data is in compliance with applicable data protection law and all other pertinent statutory provisions and that your data is handled in strict confidence.
Scope and purpose of data collection
Upon submitting your application to us, we process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, job application documentation, notes taken during job interviews etc.) insofar as is necessary to make a decision regarding the establishment of an employment relationship. The commensurate legal basis is provided under Section 26 of the new German Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu) in accordance with German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and – insofar as you have granted commensurate consent – Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The respective consent may be withdrawn at any time. Your personal data will be disclosed solely to persons within our company who are involved with processing your application.
Where your job application is successful, the data provided by you will be stored in our data processing system pursuant to Section 26 BDSG-neu and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the purposes of effecting the employment.
Data retention period
Should we not offer you a position or where you decline a job offer, withdraw your application, withdraw your consent for data processing or request that we erase the data, the respective data provided by you, including any residual hard-copy application documentation, will be stored and retained for a maximum period of 6 months following conclusion of the application process (retention period) for the purposes of clarifying details of the application process in the event of discrepancies (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
YOU MAY OBJECT TO THIS STORAGE OF YOUR DATA INSOFAR AS YOUR LEGITIMATE INTERESTS OVERRIDE OUR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS.
The data will be erased following expiry of the retention period provided no other statutory retention period or other legal grounds for further storage apply. Should it become evident that retention of your data is necessary following expiry of the retention period (e.g. owing to an impending or pending legal dispute), erasure will only first occur once the data have become redundant. All other statutory retention obligations remain without prejudice.

Datenverarbeitung
Für die Kommunikation mit unseren Kunden setzen wir unter anderen Online-Konferenz-Tools ein. Die im Einzelnen von uns genutzten Tools sind unten aufgelistet. Wenn Sie mit uns per Video- oder Audiokonferenz via Internet kommunizieren, werden Ihre personenbezogenen Daten von uns und dem Anbieter des jeweiligen Konferenz-Tools erfasst und verarbeitet.
Die Konferenz-Tools erfassen dabei alle Daten, die Sie zur Nutzung der Tools bereitstellen/einsetzen (E-Mail- Adresse und/oder Ihre Telefonnummer). Ferner verarbeiten die Konferenz-Tools die Dauer der Konferenz, Beginn und Ende (Zeit) der Teilnahme an der Konferenz, Anzahl der Teilnehmer und sonstige „Kontextinformationen“ im Zusammenhang mit dem Kommunikationsvorgang (Metadaten).
Des Weiteren verarbeitet der Anbieter des Tools alle technischen Daten, die zur Abwicklung der Online- Kommunikation erforderlich sind. Dies umfasst insbesondere IP-Adressen, MAC-Adressen, Geräte-IDs, Gerätetyp, Betriebssystemtyp und -version, Client-Version, Kameratyp, Mikrofon oder Lautsprecher sowie die Art der Verbindung.
Sofern innerhalb des Tools Inhalte ausgetauscht, hochgeladen oder in sonstiger Weise bereitgestellt werden, werden diese ebenfalls auf den Servern der Tool-Anbieter gespeichert. Zu solchen Inhalten zählen insbesondere Cloud-Aufzeichnungen, Chat-/ Sofortnachrichten, Voicemails hochgeladene Fotos und Videos, Dateien, Whiteboards und andere Informationen, die während der Nutzung des Dienstes geteilt werden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir nicht vollumfänglich Einfluss auf die Datenverarbeitungsvorgänge der verwendeten Tools haben. Unsere Möglichkeiten richten sich maßgeblich nach der Unternehmenspolitik des jeweiligen Anbieters. Zweck und Rechtsgrundlagen
Die Konferenz-Tools werden genutzt, um mit angehenden oder bestehenden Vertragspartnern zu
kommunizieren oder bestimmte Leistungen gegenüber unseren Kunden anzubieten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Des Weiteren dient der Einsatz der Tools der allgemeinen Vereinfachung und Beschleunigung der Kommunikation mit uns bzw. unserem Unternehmen (berechtigtes Interesse im Sinne von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Die unmittelbar von uns über die Video- und Konferenz-Tools erfassten Daten werden von unseren Systemen gelöscht, sobald Sie uns zur Löschung auffordern, Ihre Einwilligung zur Speicherung widerrufen oder der Zweck für die Datenspeicherung entfällt.
